OUR HOME

The flat

Our flat (1100 sq ft) is on the third floor of a house built in 1930 in the classic Art Deco style of homes in the neighborhood. We're only 300 yds. from the  beach and the "Promenade des Anglais" with its palmtrees, just two blocks behind the world-famous Negresco Hotel [See the map].
  It's a 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, with living & dining rooms, modern kitchen with all amenities (stove, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine). One bedroom is our office with a convertible couch for our guests.

The neighborhood

This is the view from the front rooms onto the façades in the pretty Marechal Joffre Street with its charme of the 1900 style. The foothills of the near-by Alps are in the distance. Shopping of all sorts, including regular and upscale groceries, a daily fruit and vegetable market, restaurants and a cinema, are all within about 2 blocks.

  The old town with its beautiful coloured houses and its baroque churches is only a 15 min. walk from our home, along the seaside or on the shady Victor Hugo Avenue.
